One quiet day while working at Saint Joseph Hospital, God put upon my heart to photograph the statue of Jesus and the stained glass window of Mary with baby Jesus. I was then inspired to put the negatives together to make one image, and give this photo to others to make them feel better in time of need.

When I looked at the two images merged together, I was once again inspired by God to realize that the Virgin Mother Mary and Jesus were embodied and connected as one. The head of Jesus rests inside the heart of his mother. The flesh is merged as one inspiring graphic statement of connection between the heart and mind of a mother and child being inseparable for eternity. The stained glass window of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus was located outside the postpartum maternity ward at Saint Joseph Hospital---now Creighton Medical Center. The statue of Jesus was located at the main entrance of the hospital.

God works in mysterious ways and His guiding hand empowered and inspired me to share His wisdom and vision with others.
